On behalf of the Big White Fire Department I would like to welcome you to our training site. Our department has seen many changes over the past year as we work towards developing, attaining and maintaining a high level of training standards for our members.
I have been eagerly working towards an officer development program and a succession plan that will enhance and develop the skills of our officers and firefighters.
Our paid on-call firefighters have stepped up to the challenges we face as our community continues to grow in leaps and bounds. We are very proud of their accomplishments. Our work experience program has been extremely successful as each year we continue to build and develop to make the experience mutually beneficial to the community as well as the WEP participants. This success is apparent as we are receiving applicants from all across Canada.
